Explore Montenegro digital nomad residence, D visa entry, temporary residence, family reunification, tax residence, and remote-work routes.
montenegroMontenegro is a non-EU and non-Schengen country using the euro. It has a dedicated temporary residence route for digital nomads who work electronically for a foreign employer or their own company outside Montenegro. It also has property and company-related residence bases, but the former special citizenship-by-investment programme was formally terminated on December 31, 2022 and is not open to new applicants.
These routes should be separated from ordinary tourist stay, long-stay D visa entry, local employment, company-owner residence, property residence, family residence, permanent residence, tax residence, and old investment-citizenship material.
