Employee Evidence

The employee track should show:

• foreign business entity or public-sector employer;
• continuing employment abroad;
• long-term remote work from Czechia using telecommunications means;
• highly qualified IT or marketing specialist position;
• no employment relationship under Czech law.

CzechInvest describes the employee application as a long-term visa for the purpose of other.

Freelancer Evidence

The freelancer track should show:

• Czech trade licence, or ability to obtain one;
• activity in IT-related business or marketing services;
• self-employment setup aligned with the business long-term visa route;
• contracts, service descriptions, and income trail that support the purpose of stay.

The Information Portal for Foreigners lists confirmation of registration in a relevant register, such as the Trade Licensing Register, as a business long-term visa document.

Visa File Evidence

MPO explicitly warns that the long-term visa application still needs all statutory documents required by law, regardless of the fact that some documents were submitted earlier for programme inclusion.

For the business long-term visa, the official portal lists application form, travel document, proof of accommodation, proof of funds, photograph, confirmation of registration in a relevant register, and criminal-record evidence. Upon request, medical report and additional criminal records from recent residence states may be required.

Formal Requirements

MPO says documents must be original or notarised copies and generally not older than 180 days, except travel documents and registry documents.

That 180-day rule is a practical planning constraint. Criminal records, accommodation confirmations, and bank evidence can go stale while the applicant is waiting for appointments.
