Cyprus document preparation should prove four things cleanly: lawful identity and entry, foreign remote work, sufficient net income, and the practical ability to live in Cyprus without local employment.

Start with the main Cyprus Digital Nomad Visa guide if you are still checking eligibility. Use the timeline and costs guide to plan filing sequence.

Quick Answer

Prepare the current official application form, passport and entry evidence, foreign employment or self-employment evidence, proof of at least EUR 3,500 net monthly income, Cyprus accommodation evidence, health insurance, criminal-record and medical evidence if required by the live supporting-document list, translations and certifications for foreign documents, and separate spouse/partner or child documents if family members apply.

Official Forms Page

The Migration Department’s forms page lists the application form, supporting documents for the main applicant, separate supporting documents for spouse or partner, separate supporting documents for children, the Digital Nomad Visa Scheme PDF, authorisation of representative, and mailing-address declaration.

Because the official forms page controls the current file, do not build the final application from an old checklist.

Employment Evidence

For employees, the file should show that the employer is registered outside Cyprus and that the applicant can perform duties remotely through telecommunications technology.

Useful evidence usually includes:

  • employment contract;
  • employer confirmation of remote work;
  • company registration details abroad;
  • role, duties, salary, and duration evidence;
  • statement that no Cyprus employer or client work is involved.

Self-Employment Evidence

For self-employed applicants, the file should show that services are provided remotely to clients located abroad.

Useful evidence usually includes:

  • service or project contracts;
  • client location evidence;
  • business registration or professional activity evidence where relevant;
  • invoices or payment records;
  • statement that the work does not concern Cyprus-based clients.

Income Evidence

The main threshold is EUR 3,500 net per month after contributions and taxes. The income evidence should show stability and source, not only savings.

Prepare salary slips, bank statements, contracts, tax records, invoices, dividend records, or other proof that matches the applicant’s work model.

Translation and Certification

The official information page says documents accompanying application forms should be officially translated and duly certified or ratified. This is a common failure point. Treat legalisation, apostille, translation, and expiry dates as part of the timeline.
