Good Fit

This route is strongest for genuine Latvian employment where the employer can complete the State Employment Agency and OCMA steps, the salary fits the relevant sector wage rule, and the job does not need the EU Blue Card’s higher qualification and mobility framework.

Poor Fit

It is usually a poor fit for foreign-payroll remote work, freelancing, low-salary roles, weak employer files, cases where the State Employment Agency opinion is not available, and workers whose main goal is EU Blue Card mobility.
