Startup Denmark has two different proof layers: the business-plan approval by Startup Denmark and the residence and work permit application to SIRI. Treat them separately.

Quota Risk

SIRI states that Startup Denmark is subject to a yearly quota of 75 permits. Because the route is capped, applicants should treat timing, completeness, and sequence seriously.

Quota risk also makes stale business plans dangerous. If product, team, financing, or market facts change between expert-panel approval and SIRI filing, the application story should be updated carefully rather than patched casually.

Work Boundary

The Startup Denmark permit is tied to work in the approved startup. SIRI material states that if the applicant wants to do other work, they must apply for a separate work permit for sideline employment.

This is the biggest remote-work trap. If the applicant’s real activity is employment for a foreign company or unrelated client work, the Startup Denmark file can become incoherent.
