Spain’s Golden Visa, formally the residence visa and residence authorization for investors under Law 14/2013, is closed to new applications.

Organic Law 1/2025 entered into force on April 3, 2025 and left Law 14/2013 articles 63, 64, 65, 66, and 67 without content. Those were the core investor-visa provisions covering qualifying investments, visa effects, residence authorization, and permit duration.
