Good Fit

This route is strongest where the work is genuinely highly qualified, the employer or activity evidence is strong, and a Portuguese national skilled route is preferable to the EU Blue Card.

Poor Fit

It is usually a poor fit for ordinary low-salary employment, weak qualification files, remote work for non-Portuguese entities, passive-income cases, or EU mobility strategies where the EU Blue Card is the core goal.
